Lakshmi pooja is celebrated on the third day of Diwali, which falls on the new moon day (Amavasya). It is considered as the main festive day of Diwali. Laxmi is the Goddess of wealth and prosperity and worshipping her has many benefits for devotees and their families. Diwali Lakshmi pooja celebrated by lighting Diya's and decorating the house with lights, flowers, and Ashoka, mango and banana leaves.
